Studio Cicada was founded seven years ago by a design duo {who also happen to be sisters!} with backgrounds in fine arts, art history, photography, graphic / jewelry / and textile design. All the designs you find here are original Cicada designs.
One sister is inspired by nature, while the other is inspired by her own snarky humor. Who knows what they might come up with!
Starting in the spare rooms of their homes, Studio Cicada quickly flourished into a brick and mortar store. With a successful online presence over the last three plus years, Studio Cicada decided to go a step further and join the Etsy Community with their line of cases / covers / protective gadget gear... whatever you want to call it...
